WHere is an easy version of a cocktail from our latest drinks list. It's a batch pre-mixed that's packed full of essence of a Christmas time, which makes it perfect for your festive gathering. Reserve the remaining syrup you can use for brunch beverages, desserts, or to mix more rounds of the drink.

Yields 10 servings
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Method
To prepare the Cordial: Combine the listed ingredients inside a saucepan, bring to a simmer, agitating to dissolve. Next, remove from the burner and let it to cool down completely. Pour to a sealable bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it will last for up to one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Mix the specified liquids into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then pass it through best through muslin, so it's fully clarified.
To serve: Add 85ml of your cocktail base into your stirring glass packed with ice, and agitate gently for one minute to cool it down. Filter into a cold coupe glass or similar, top with some cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
